Born in Jamaica and nurtured in America, Commissioner Dunn’s perspective is both global and deeply personal.

Her academic credentials speak volumes. With a BS in Sociology from Judson College and an MBA coupled with a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Florida International University, Commissioner Dunn is well-equipped with the knowledge and expertise to craft visionary strategies and lead with purpose.

In her ongoing role as the CEO of MD Marketing & Consulting, she continues to be the architect of groundbreaking strategies for local governments, nonprofits, and socially responsible corporations. Her work isn’t just business-centric; it’s about creating opportunities for community development, entrepreneurial expansion, and forging strong pathways for sustainable growth.

Legislatively, Commissioner Dunn’s accomplishments are a testament to her commitment to the community. From initiating the Target Market Program, that boosted the number of Lauderhill businesses that were given access to city contracts to championing environmental stewardship through the ‘Plastic Free Lauderhill initiative, her governance is consistently progressive, inclusive, and forward-thinking.
